The Jumpking Oval Pod trampoline actually arrived on the Monday (a day prior to expectation) and a few friends helped me to assemble it that day. I have had a previous trampoline but must say the Jumpking is massively superior. I never realised there could be such a vast difference in the overall quality and appearance of a trampoline, and whilst the Jumpking was more expensive than my previous trampoline, the whole system is obviously far more robust and safe, so in my opinion, the safety features far outweigh any extra cost! The only one comment I would pass is that the instructions for assembly are not the easiest to follow but I appreciate this is the manufacturer's responsibility....not yours.

The trampoline jump bed can benefit from using a cover. The permatron nylon jump bed is especially easily damaged by any sparks. This is the major cause of damage - from bonfire sparks or a firework. replacement beds are expensive and will take an hour of your time to fix.

However generally, we don't use covers on our trampolines - even in winter. We want our children to be able to access the trampoline easily and get the most exercise. However it is worth having a cover for security ie if putting the trampoline 'out of bounds' or going away on holiday, and especially if having a bonfire or on firework night. Good value swing seat. Our bouncy happy people wooden swing seat is copper treated with fully galvanised rings and eights. Seats with polyhemp rope are screwed with stainless steel screws. We have not yet tested the hardwood and ecool hard wood FSCEco certified from sustainable forests.

TP hexagonal sandpit from bouncy happy people is good quality and took about an hour to assemble. Yes, longer than most but the timber is robust and can be painted and kept treated to look smarter than plastic.
